How many of us here in India are aware that, we are the under 14 world rugby champions. But the fact is that, yes we are the under 14 rugby world champions. That too, the most welcoming fact is that, the guys who represented India and lifted the trophy are the bunch of tribal boys from Orissa. The bunch of boys was selected from KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences) which is the place where some 5000 tribal students are taken care of. The12 selected bunch of boys was trained on playing rugby for close to six months. They were thought each and every tricks of playing the game. At first it should have been tough for them, because it’s the game that they have never heard of before. But slowly they developed the liking for the game after which there was no looking back.
To begin with, the team almost did not make it to London because the players didn’t even have valid birth certificates that are mandatory for their passports. The shy bunch of boys, including some who first wore shoes just a few years ago, are led by 14-year-old—Bikash Chandra Murmu—captain of the India under-14 team that lifted the International School Rugby Tournament in London . The team, Jungle Crows, won the tournament, the de facto World Cup at that level, beating a more experienced South African team, Langa Lions, 19-5. “It was a dream come true,” said Murmu in broken Hindi,in the felicitation ceremony. He and his team-mates—Chittaranjan Murmu, Babulal Malka, Rajkishore Murmu, Bukei Hansda, Niranjan Biswal, Hadi Dhanga Majhi, Sahadev Majhi, Gorang Jamuda, Narasingh Kerei, Barial Behera and Ganesh Hembram—hail from some of the most backward districts of Orissa. They beat Zambia, Romania, Kenya and Swaziland to reach the final and then go on to beat South Africa and to lift the cup…..
So now it’s clear that Indians can shine in sports other than cricket as well. That too these boys are completely new to rugby, But they learnt the game very quickly and now they are the champions. So if trained properly these boys will go places…
The dark night, the latest sequel of the batman series. It is been said as the best super hero movie ever made. But I doubt, because I don’t think that it is the best commercial movie ever made. It has its flaws .I’ll tell you people why.
The movie as usual is about the good against the evil. But, the villain role played by Heath ledger has dominated the whole film, more than the batman. He has done a great job with his performance as a joker, more so completely out performing the hero of the film batman. He has done each and every scene with ease. That too having played as comedy villain, he does complete justice to the role. Each and every scene he appears in are very interesting, where as the batman just come and gone. But the sad thing is that the super performer, the villain of the film heath ledger, who deserves an Oscar for this performance is no more with us.
But, the reason why I doubt this as the best ever is that, it is too much dominated by the villain. The balance between the good and the evil is missing. The balance is more on the evil this time around. The director could have worked a little more on the characterization of bat man. The batman’s role could have been made a little more interesting. But I would suggest this film as a must watch, just for Heath ledger…
Here is the latest wonder from the world of medicine. It’s going to be great news for the people affected with the lung diseases and people who are waiting for lung transplant. The transplant surgeons at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network used a new technique to repair an injured donor lung that was unsuitable for transplant, and then successfully transplanted it into a patient. The use of this technique could significantly expand the lung donor organ pool and improve outcomes after transplantation. This technique, the Toronto XVIVO Lung Perfusion System, allows the surgeons the opportunity to assess and treat and repair the injured donor lungs, while they are outside the body, to make them suitable for transplantation. so with this the problem scarcity for lungs can be reduced.
The main reason why people allege a business to be the most risky thing that the owner can take is because managing the business is difficult. With developments in technology, everyone is trying to make business management easier, but the more easy opportunities they create, the more difficult tasks seem to mount. Nevertheless, business management basics remain the same. The main areas in which a business owner should concentrate are accounting, management of cash flow, and financing in the best way. However, the management gets better with effective manpower and efficient methods.
Business planning is the first step in managing and running a business successfully. Management of every area requires separate strategies, which can be acquired through planning, and as a primary step of management, the process of planning should be carried out carefully and effectively. Business management deals with the whole business, whereas planning is a part of the management process and is the primary and most important step in creating a productive business.
