Saroja, the second film from one of the unexpected talents of Tamil cinema, Venkat prabu. He has done it again. The director seems to be growing with confidence with each and every film. The director has made a completely different film from his earlier flick.
The story is about four men in the age of high 30’s .The story starts off with four friends planning to go and watching the cricket match in Hyderabad. So they travel by a van from Chennai to Hyderabad to watch the match. But unfortunately they get caught in traffic on the midway, because of a truck accident. It becomes difficult for them to reach the destination on time. But, so desperate to watch the match, one of the four friends finds a short route to Hyderabad. This leaves them in a situation. They find themselves in a spot of bother, were they are caught in the world of criminals. So the story unfolds, like what happens to them in that situation. Do they manage to escape from that place and so on…
Venkat prabhu has penned the screenplay in such a way, it does not look like a serious thriller, yes it is thriller but with a difference. It is a comedy thriller. It makes u laugh, at the same time the film keeps u stay glued to your seats. On the whole it’s on a hat trick for Venkat..
