So its official now that the Indo-Pak cricket tour that was scheduled to take place in January,has been called off as expected.Now the biggest question in the minds of the cricket fans and the followers is that ‘Was it right to call off the tour?’
My answer to that is ,it is absolutely a right decision that has been taken by the BCCI officials and the Indian government. I too don’t feel that playing cricket in Pakistan at this point of time is absolutely not safe. The reason why i’, saying this is that, many of us Indians would be aware of what happened in Pakistan,during the bomb attack on the Marriott hotel recently.for your information that is the hotel that generally houses mostly foreigners. That too the Marriott hotel is within the close vicinity of resident of the Pakistan president.So it is obvious that it must be highly guarded area.But inspite of that the attacks were launched and left many people dead.So if they cannot secure that very highly guarded place, What assurance is there that they would guard our team safely…
