The much fancied Indian cricket team which was the book makers favorite and the pre-tournament favorites, did not live upto the expectations. They have been knocked out of the competition in the super eight stages, where they failed to win even one match. They lost all their matches in the super eight stages to west indies , England and South Africa. They lost all the matches very badly, due to very bad captaincy tactics and some poor batting by the Indian top order. Captain Dhoni was completely out of sought’s and did not play as well as he can. He has turned into a defensive player, which has raised many eye brows. This has made the Indian fans very frustrated and are very agitated. India is much better team, but they just didn’t play as a team after the shewag exit and the controversy around it.
