I love socializing and social networking is one of the best things and one of the most entertaining hobbies that I have got. I am part of most of the social networking sites and also take extensive participation in most general forums and web master forums that will have the off topic / general chat sections. One thing that i have noticed in many such English boards is that some people always complain about the quality of English used in the forums. To be more precise, they always complain about grammar and spellings of the fellow forum members and the worst part is when they , those who go hard and strong at grammar and spelling of others, often end up making spelling mistakes and grammatical mistakes in the post in which they complain. 
So, Is spelling and grammar really that important in the web? If you are able to communicate what you wanted to, then what’s the problem? Of course, when it comes to writing blog posts and other such specific jobs where it is mandatory, we can and should expect for flawless writing.But,do we really need to give so much care for posting in forums and chat conversations. What’s the purpose of online lingos then?
