The latest product from apple is the 3g i phone.It was on of the biggest hits of 2008.People around the world were waiting for the release of this phone.The bookings for this phone was made very early before the release.There was high expectations for this product.And it did fulfill people’s expectations.It had all the features in it for this generation as well as the next generation.But the main thing that attracted the worldwide people is that it’s price.It was as low as just199$ for 16gb and 299$ for 32gb.But still there was some speculation about the price for being very low,thinking of it’s quality.But still people have grabbed it with both hands.
The main feature’s of the i phone is that it has high internet access as that of the PC or mac.the other features are it has a 4.5 inches wide screen which is a touch screen.It has all the things that keeps u entertained like the audio books,music,video player to watch movies an TV shows.Also it has a 2 mega pixel camera that gives best of the quality when compared to others. So it has all the thing to be a great hit and it is a great hit around the world.
But the things are little different here in India.At the starting stage here also the i phone was a big hit with the people.people QED up near the stores to buy this product.But slowly the i phone is seem to be losing its way.So there are two reasons for the slowdown of i phone sales in India .They are , first thing is the cost of the phone,it costs a whopping 32k for 16gb and 36k for 32gb which is very high when compared to the other parts of the world which is just one fourth.The other reason is even though it has all the best features in the world,still there is one thing missing which Indians love,that is the video camera.The i phone does not have the video camera which is a big drawback for the Indians who were planning to buy the product.That is what stopped me from buying this product.So lets hope that this issue is addressed in its next edition.
