Well as we know that with the introduction of 20-20 cricket, the original form of cricket, the test matches have taken a back seat. So, to increase the people’s interest in the test format, the international cricket council has been planning many things. One such idea is that to play day-night test cricket, so that more people can watch the game after finishing their job in office. This will not only increase the viewership for test cricket, but also will make the game much more interesting. But, if this has to be made a possibility than the main change that has to be made would be to change the color of the ball. It is not possible to with the red balls that is being used in the test matches. Also ICC is planning to cut short of the time , interms of no of days test cricket is being played. ICC chief has an idea to reduce the test cricket to just 4 days, to that of 5 days. But, will this be implemented, well we have to wait and see. But this will be initially tested in domestic matches before being implemented in international cricket.

There are huge fan following as far as sports id concerned. Different people follow different types of games or sports. Take cricket for example, it is one of the biggest sports in the world. more than a billion people follow this particular sports. People follow these games, because they are highly entertaining. Same goes with football , the world’s biggest sports. But there are certain people , who view sports such as these as a huge money making option. That is because the general elections itself will require hell a lot of security personals. So the government asked the ipl governing committee to either postpone or reschedule the games. Which left the future of the games in uncertainty. So the ipl committee provided the rescheduled dates of the ipl to the home ministry but that too was rejected. So many feared if at all the ipl will take place this time. But those speculation have now come to an end . With no other choice the ipl committee and the franchisees have unanimously decided to shift the tournaments out of India.Now the ipl games will be either played in either South Africa or England.Even though it is a sad news that the games are moving out of India, at least we can be happy for the fact the tournament is atlast happening.So the ipl fever starts now.

The terrorists in Pakistan have done it again.This time the location is different and the victims are the pity sri lankan cricket team.It happened today when the sri lankan players were on their way to the cricket stadium in Lahore for their second test match against Pakistan.That when this brutal incident happened, some heart less people open fire on the sri lankan cricket teams bus and the security personnel guarding them.Though nothing serious happened to the players, still some players where injured in the incident.Thankfully no one is in serious condition.Thanks to the security guards who gave their life to guard the players, the damage done was minimum.Otherwise the situation could be even more worse.This incident clearly shows that their is a huge network of terrorists based in Pakistan.They are being well trained to tackle any situation.So this is a very big issue and this has to be addressed as soon as possible,this cannot be allowed to grow.On the other hand the cricket in the sub continent is goin to be looked different here after, events like World cup 2011 is in danger of being taken away from the sub continenet.Above all, the future of the pakistan cricket is going to be hit the most.This shold not have happend, no one thought that cricketers will be targeted,but after this incident we have to be extra careful.We can only hope incidents such as these never happens again.

That is, most games ended in a draw,that too after playing for five days.Experts said that this is the only reason,why many do not follow cricket.That,s when one day cricket came into existence.Which even though became a huge hit with the cricket playing nation,but still it was able to draw only few nation to take up the game of cricket and play.But as times passed , even one day cricket became a bit long for some people.That’s when the idea of 20-20 raised, which is the quickest form of cricket in terms of time.Also the most interesting form of cricket which lasts just three hours long.Thus with the arrival of 20-20, it is expected to bring in more countries to take part in the game and in tern will increase the viewership for the game.And it seems to be actually happening, which is evident from the fact that countries such as America,Canada,china, and many more countries have started playing the game.If that happens, then game football will face a stiff competition from cricket.Hope that happens,which will be really great for the sports lovers.
