Hi friends today let’s see about the queen of tennis, Justine henin hardenne. Born in Belgium, Justine was always attracted towards tennis. She dream t of winning at least one grand slam .But what happened later was history.
Justine was a very tiny lady standing just 167cms tall and 57 kg s in weight. When she started of her career she was not given any chance to survive in the world of tennis by, the then critics. But she proved those critics time and again. She was only one of five players to win the debut WTA tournament. After that there was no looking back for her she went on to win as many as 41 singles title. That includes 7 grand slam titles. Out of which 4 were French open titles, 1 Australian open and 2 U S open titles. She always played her best tennis on the clay courts. She was ultimately called the queen of clay. But she was equally good on other surface as well. She also won a gold medal for her country. I would say she was the queen of tennis. Which was evident from the fact was the world no 1 for most of her career.
But the sad thing is that she is no more playing the game she loves. Even though she was dominating the world of tennis, she always had to face the big problem of injury. But no one expected that one such injury would end her career. But the fact is that, she is retired now. But still even on her retirement she was the no 1 player in tennis. Even though her fans are sad, she says that this is the right decision. As a true fan of her I respect her decision and I wish all the best for her future. She will always be remembered as a true champion.
